Johnson and coastal photography by Debra Johnson Fast, Tales of the Tides is a celebration of place, presence, and renewal, drawn from Blackmans Bay Beach across one year. Shaped by salt air, shifting tides, and the rhythm of footsteps on sand, the images and words are an invitation into a world of beauty. 

Located just south of Hobart, Blackmans Bay Beach curves gently along the Derwent Estuary, offering sweeping views toward the Iron Pot, and providing ever‑changing moods of the water. Known for its shoreline, soft sand, and dramatic light, the beach is a cherished space to dip, walk, reflect, and watch the seasons unfold.
