This book continues his reflections that follow his travels around Tasmania. His work has been published nationally and internationally. Don, a native of San Francisco, came to Tasmania in 1982 on the advice of an Australian he met in Alaska. He hitched a ride to Cradle Mountain, started hiking, met a local woman and they have been together ever since. His love for Tasmania and for his wife have only grown deeper over the past forty years.
