Katy’s Kitchen is the third publication in the Little Tasmanian series, a project initiated and managed by Brand Tasmania and a key component of the Tasmanian Government’s It Takes a Tasmanian Village: Child and Youth Wellbeing Strategy.

Using the message ‘someone like you did it, and you can do it too’, this is an inspirational book for young children, beautifully illustrated and designed by Tasmanian illustrator Shiloh Longbottom.

Join Katy and her brother, Ollie, as they create an amazing feast with the help of some Tasmanian foodies. They make muffins with Sally Wise; pick fresh carrots at Katherine Reed’s farm; and gather tomatoes from Anthony Brandsema’s lush greenhouse. They collect milk at the farm belonging to Genaro Velasquesz and Rosselyn Escalante; and learn about wattleseeds (wuranyni) from bush tucker gardener, Kitana Mansell.
