Just as a butterfly flicks his ear to remind him to pay attention, Tony Brennan invites readers to savour moments of beauty and mystery in life’s quiet, untamed spaces. —Susan Austin, author of Dancing with Empty Prams

Brennan’s latest volume offers a deep dive into the swag and swagger of days from early morning and the blisters of noon to waxing darkness, until dawn becomes possible again. — Pamela Leach, PhD Multi-award winning author of Unlikely Vessels

Tony Brennan has published a poetry collection entitled A Beauty that Catches (Burringbah Books, 2016) and has had poetry published in Australian Poetry Journal, Curious Record, Extempore, Oxygen, Poetry Matters, Sotto, Studio and The Burrow. In 2013, with Jan Colville, Lorraine Haig and Kate Tongs, he contributed to a collaboration called The Persistence of Song.

For Tony, poems are like Superb Blue Wrens and he feels blessed when they flick around in his life.
